OctConnect connects diaspora callers in the UK, Ireland, US and South Africa to a Zimbabwean number through a paired phone-number bridge. No app, no smartphone, no internet on the recipient’s side.

What we collect

Your name, email, and mobile number
The Zimbabwean number you want to call
Technical info: IP address, browser, device type
Call metadata (start, end, duration) — we never record the audio of your call

To deliver this free demo call to your phone
To verify you’re a real person (the SMS code)
To prevent abuse of the free trial
To follow up with you about OctConnect plans, updates and related diaspora services from us and our trusted partners

Sharing with partners

We share your name, email and mobile with carefully selected partners that offer products of likely interest to the Zimbabwean diaspora — money transfer, travel, banking, telecoms, and government services. We do not sell your data and we never share with general advertisers.

Storage & retention

Your data is stored on UK and EU servers. We keep contact details for as long as you remain interested in our service and for up to 24 months after your last contact, after which we delete or anonymise it.
